It’s cold and raining, so the usual trip to the park is out. Lila started to get that crazed look on her face, that look that precedes mayhem, destruction and meltdown, so I busted out the secret weapon I’d been hiding since I bought it yesterday on our whirlwind trip to Toys’R'Us — Play-Doh. It’s her first time to be introduced to clay, and after a few minutes of shouting “Don’t eat it!” instructions at her, she finally got the concept of it.

Have I mentioned how utterly awesome Play-Doh is? Eternal thanks to whoever invented it. It’s been an hour and Lila’s still at it. Our house is a colourful mess, but it’s a small price to pay for keeping her occupied while we’re stuck indoors.

Being stuck indoors means listening to music, so here’s what I’ve been listening to today:

Sure fits a rainy day in July in Paris, doesn’t it?

Lila is GORGEOUS! And yes, I too have been introduced to the powers of Play-Doh, my daughter loves it (it also started as a secret weapon!). One of these days, when it gets THAT boring (crazy weather in Germany, summer rainshowers are famous!) we will make our own! :-)

When you do figure out how to make your own Play-Doh, send me the recipe… it just might save my life.
