It’s been quite a long time since I worked, and it’s scary. I’m supposed to take things easy and to not stress myself out, but I can’t help but long for those days when I could pull an all-nighter working on a design or coding a website. With Lila in the picture, I’m forced to wake up at the crack of dawn and sleep when she sleeps. Do you know how tiring it is to amuse a toddler? I spend more time at the playground than in my own flat. Or maybe I really shouldn’t be blaming the little monster – maybe it’s just me being old. I don’t know how I was able to go on for days on a minimum number of hours of sleep. Youth is madness!

I wish there were more hours to a day. But I shouldn’t complain, because complaining is just a waste of time. So, here’s to more babysitter bookings, more projects (if I can’t get professional ones, I’ll settle for personal ones), and more productivity during my “alone” time.

And I’m posting some photos of grass in the sunshine, because we are in dire need of sunshine around here. Hard to believe it’s mid-July with the weather we’re having in Paris…

my dear… sure now you’re back to paris, in your own flat with your own rhythm of the day (connected to lilas rhythm ;-) ) you’ll find a way. finding projects (mostly personal, not professionals ;-) ) is a good way!!!

    I believe in you ;-) :-)

Thanks Jessi. It has been easier now in our own place, the comforts of home I suppose. I wish that it was this year that you and R were going to Rock en Seine… although the line up isn’t very interesting apart from a few bands. I might go but only for a day, still trying to figure out which day to go.

Hi, hope you’re doing okay. Been meaning to pop by and say hello but Z’s been teething the last three? Four? Weeks and it hasn’t been pretty.
