The future: Ramadan in a few weeks

Anticipated Scenario: Closed stores, boredom, traffic, getting drunk in the living room

Work: One million unfinished projects

–> Flash: Uncooperative Actionscript

–> Flash: Difficulty (impossibility?) in making buttons nested in movie clips to link to an .swf target in the same scene (despair)

–> Errors due to server upgrading to php5 /MySQL5

–> Flash: a pain in the ass (what’s new…)

Silver lining: swimming pool, music, Hanim feeding me homemade doughnuts

nothing new with flash and at work I’ve been upgrading to php5 as well and it was a pain indead as it was a new server configuration for everyone in the house and a under this circumstances even 4 months project should be done in 2. hello and goodbye… despair… Im glad that are memories from the past months, the upcoming ones look brighter :-)
    same wishes for you~

I forgot what it was like during Ramadan until I read your post! Now I’m reminded of my time in Jakarta. But if there is to be home made doughnuts, it can’t be that bad :)

Nooooooooooooooooo (cry of despair from that one guy who’s dumb enough to use linux and whose computer doesn’t feel the love for flash :p)

But your work sounds incredibly like mine today :-) )
    Aircraft: uncooperative equipment
Aircraft: difficulty (impossibility?) in making 9 interacting computers interact together
Errors due to said debugging being done in Hamburg, germany whilst brain is in france
Aircraft: a pain in the ass (what’s new…)

Silver lining: sunshine, movie, and a beer

Jessi> we should form a We Hate Server Configuration And Flash group on facebook or something, LOL. Glad it’s a thing of the past for you :)

Sinta> Yeah, the doughnuts definitely cheered me up. They were really damn good, too! Now I do remember that you were in Jakarta when you were younger. It’s tough, Ramadan!

Yen> 5 hours of work?! You guys are spoiled :) Can’t wait for you to move buildings!!!

Tomm> Hey Mr. Missing in Action, your aircrafts seem to have hatched up a scheme with Flash to make our lives miserable! We humans are no match for the nasty machineswe’ve created. Thankfully, there are silver linings. AND alcohol :) Maybe I should rethink linux?

Haze> You said it, Yen is a goldmine of colourful stories, never a dull time with her, hehehe.

I have experienced Ramadan a third of my lifetime. The things that stuck to my mind are the prayers that could be heard from afar, the noises when it’s time to eat, the food. I love the food they prepare I must say, spicy and all. After the dull days, they seem to party when the sun sets… at least from my experience..
Bon courage… a thousand winks, and more bottles, then it’s over ;-)

As to Madpinoy …. no mores… no time to do it…
