My sister and her husband are visiting me here in Paris and since I’m new here I need your help: any nice resto, brasseries and café suggestions?

oh yeah, a restaurant:
L’auberge de Jarente somewhere in the 4th. A must each time my dad was in paris. Cuisine du sud ouest, just right.
a bit on the expensive side though. 45 euros per person, plus wine if I remember.
I’ll see if I can remember any other, but I tended to stick to japanese food.

hum… café du commerce in the 15th, prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is just incredible.

Boulevard Saint Germain for the authentic taste of French brasseries – I read that on your book. Hehehehe!

hello. one is not here to make a recommendation. one wishes one could, but one has never been to paris and you would find any suggestion one would have to make suspect.
one is here to inquire: is belishabeacon20 still used? one hasn’t been getting replies as of late and one wonders.
that is all.
wait! one does have a recommendation! run to the nearest record store and buy, steal, or borrow a cd of scissor sister’s latest lp, “ta-dah!”
it is ace, ace, ace!
hugs,
e
